If you’re looking for a proper adventure, you’ve come to the right place. This fully guided canyoning weekend in Scotland is unbelievable.
Canyoning in Scotland is incredible and you will explore some of the most beautiful canyons it has to offer. From Bruar Canyon to Dollar Canyon, you’ll explore with a river’s eye view as you jump, slide, abseil, and swim your way through two of the most iconic canyon environments in the UK.
Your two guides throughout (Ben & George) are leading figures on the Scotland canyoning scene and will ensure that these three days will be ones you won’t forget in a hurry.
Get ready to start your Scottish Canyoning Advenure! Arrive in Dunkeld and Birnam in the late afternoon/early evening and meet up with your guides (Ben and George). This evening you will be taking part in a 2 hour Crag (bouldering session) to introduce you to basic canyoning skills, dinner in a local pub or restaurant (meal not included) and, finally, bed.
Wake up, grab breakfast and take the opportunity to explore your surroundings before being met at your accommodation at 10.30. From here you will head to Scotland’s most famous canyon for an unbelievable experience. Throughout the day you will be taught to canyon like a pro – including many jumps, slides and a 25 metre void-abseil over a waterfall – all taking place in breathtaking scenery. Lunch is included (please inform us of any dietary requirements) and after a debrief enjoy dinner at a local pub or restaurant (meal not included) where you can relive the day’s adventures.
Check out of your accommodation before heading off to a lush green canyon in the stunning Clackmannanshire countryside, overlooked by Dollar castle (lunch included). After the first day, you will be more confident in taking initiative and will partially lead the canyoning expedition. Again expect plenty of jumps, slides, abseils and scrambles to satisfy your inner adventurer. This experience will leave you more confident, inspired, and ready to take on the world!
After a debrief you will be transferred back to Edinburgh, where you’ll sadly have to say goodbye to your guides and what was an unbelievable escape.
